No return

I tuned into Canadian News yesterday, and what I saw was enough to convince me to not go back to Canada anytime soon. Canada is still suffering under the Covid hysteria. As long as my health holds, I have no reason to return. Canada has become a hellscape of liberal fools following the dictates of the leftist governments with the exception being Alberta. As soon as I separated from my ex wife, Alberta was the only viable option as far as being a livable, low cost alternative to BC (bring cash).

Poem

Listen to the sound of the ocean as its waves slowly lap at the shores. The crystal blue waters beckon you into their loving arms The gulls circle overhead laughing at man and his insignificant petty concerns. Our time is but a fleeting impression to sustain the illusion of our importance. We are merely stardust, a brief impression that is blown away with each diminishing wave. The impermanence of life and all its attendant concerns give way to the advance of time Which never falters, no matter what our opinion.

It's a beautiful day in paradise, the sun is out and my health is good. So why write a blog you may ask? Canada is my home country and it's in bad shape, we have a third rate dictator running our country. To commemorate his "election", here are few memes to celebrate:

Time

As you get older you realize that the most valued commodity is something that vanishes quickly, seemingly without warning sometimes, it is Time. Time itself speeds up and things you took for granted no longer exist. Suddenly a week becomes a day, a day becomes an hour, an hour becomes a minute etc. Living where I am has put most of these externalities in perspective. This is why I have embraced stoicism as a personal philosophy, it does seem to fit my life, where indifference seems to be the preferred path to take. It also leads to less regret, I wish I had known about it earlier.  I can only address my life from this point forward.

Paradise Found

The cost of living here is a fraction of the cost of living in Canada. Plus you have the sunny weather and beautiful scenery to admire. On the whole I am thankful for landing on my feet so to speak, I live by the beach with a beautiful view. It enables me to support my son, while we may not have the personal contact I would like it would be no different than me living in Canada, except I would be consistently broke and lonely.

infrastructure

This country would not survive a global conflict, it's people are hardy but a prolonged power-water outage would bring it to it's knees, there is no discernible infrastructure plan. The roads are a joke and the electrical/water supply is hanging on by tender-hooks. We have a power outage every 3-5 days right now, an attack would all but guarantee mass genocide, drought, starvation. Maybe the Chinese would help, but this would be conditional based on reciprocity. But my view of the beach is beautiful and calming or Tranquil-lo. Haitians would cross the border en mass and our country would become a Detroit of the Caribbean. You don't dare go for a walk if you're under the influence in an unknown area. There is a 100% chance you will break your ankle and wind up face down in a pit of broken glass. If you're one of the brave souls who rides a motoconcho you will need to survey the area thoroughly before trying to ride your bike on the side roads. There is no inspi...

The wanton criminality of this regime is stupefying.

Here we are, it's frosh week in the Biden admin, and they are all bellying up to the trough to plunge their faces in the tax goodies, the repubs and dems are both equally culpable for this crime so the game continues.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYMN6VCOr3o The wanton criminality of this regime is stupefying.  But is my day to day life affected? No, I get my fox news Feed and blithely continue forward like some half soused booze hound. As time slips, so does my concern with that which I exert no direct control. Politicians will stay as crooked as a dog's hind leg, all of them. To think otherwise is delusional and sad. It's time for a drink, it's 5 O'clock somewhere.
